How to care

We strongly advise against completely immersing fur products in water!

Head

  • Dry cleaning: it is necessary to comb the fursuit with a clean soft comb, not a curler. With the frequent use of slicker in the care of the fursuit, the fur sheds very much. Wipe all non-fur parts with a clean cloth. Treat the antiseptic mask inside.
  • Wet cleaning: wipe the fur with a damp cloth, wash with a mild detergent (shampoo is suitable), then rinse thoroughly, be sure to dry. Treat the antiseptic mask inside. comb, be sure to dry. Comb after drying.

Body

  • Dry cleaning: it is necessary to comb the fursuit with a clean soft comb, not a curler or a furminator. With the frequent use of slicker in the care of the fursuit, the fur sheds very much.
  • Wet cleaning: You can wash the fur part (without foam pads) in the washing machine. If your suit involves stitched foam parts with fur, then wipe the fur with a damp cloth, wash it with a mild detergent (shampoo is suitable), then rinse, comb, and be sure to dry it gently. Comb after drying.

Gloves, tails, feetpaws

  • Dry cleaning: gently comb, wipe pads, claws, other non-fur parts.
  • Wet cleaning: wipe the fur with a damp cloth, wash it with a mild detergent (shampoo is suitable), then rinse, comb and gently dry it. Comb after drying. Dry and comb after each wash. Be careful when washing gloves and feetpaws they need a long time to dry.
  • Fursuit can be dried with a fan or a hairdryer with a cold setting. It is necessary to dry the heads on the dryer, unzipping the zipper on the back of the head and spreading the collar in different directions. The body must first be dried inside (turning out), then outside.

One is strongly advised not to:

  • Leave wet fursuits in bags / boxes / other containers. Be sure to dry your fursuit completely;
  • Dry with a hairdryer in hot mode - the fur can melt;
  • Wet the electronics. In cases where it is wet, we do not recommend using fursuit until the electronics are removed and disposed of.
